Powerful Message of Freedom for Mothers who have Aborted Children

I’ve noticed a consistent message about abortion that’s shared by many Christians, most Republicans, and the majority of pro-lifers. While I agree with much of the message, I want to use this post to bring to light how this current message on abortion is incomplete—and especially incomplete in regard to mothers who have aborted children.

This message surely rings endlessly in the ears of those moms who have been separated from their child via abortion, and sadly those who champion this message—purposely or unwittingly—have left these women clothed in spiritual leprosy, shame, and loneliness, sentencing them to death in the name of Jesus.

Any incomplete message purportedly from the Lord can easily morph into a modern witch hunt in the name of God—if the message does not wrap its target with love and lift them up to our King for His personal glory. That said, I am pro-life, but I am also pro-mother of aborted children … and so is Jesus Christ. So right now I’m going to prove it with the risen Word of God, who reigns above all sin and has the final word in every story. IT IS FINISHED!

The Incomplete Message on Abortion

Let’s start at the beginning: Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘Where is Abel your brother?’ And he said, ‘I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?’ He said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground’” (Genesis 4:9-10). This scripture serves as the backbone of a fairly common Christian teaching that describes the blood of the innocent crying out to God for vengeance against those who shed innocent blood, including that of aborted babies. This same theme is repeated throughout the Bible and is absolutely true. However, there is more truth than that!

The Complete Message on Abortion

In the following scripture the writer of Hebrews speaks to all of us—but I’m thinking specifically about mothers who aborted children: “[But through Jesus] you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel(Hebrews 12:22-24, my emphasis added).

So when it comes to mothers who have aborted children, God’s opinion is that through repentance the cries of innocent blood toward sinners is canceled out and converted into the worship of Jesus Christ. You see, “the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). This is the reason Hebrews 12:24 declares that the blood of Jesus speaks better than the blood of Abel.” Of course, the blood of Jesus speaks better because He was and is the Son of God and the supreme symbol of innocence. But Jesus came to reconcile man (and mom) back to God and destroy all the work of sin.

Once someone receives salvation through Christ, the entire script planned by Satan for the sinner gets rewritten by the Author of life—Jesus Himself. Therefore, instead of the judgment of God coming upon the mother of an aborted child, she is protected by the blood of Christ, and Jesus targets the enemy exclusively—and there is no shame in this equation at all. This is His ultimate purpose!

The Blood of Jesus Cries out for Forgiveness

To cement my point, I’ll clarify something that happened while Jesus was on the cross. As He hung there battered and naked, His innocent blood flowed from wounds all over his body. He was 100 percent covered by the only power in the universe that could destroy the work of Satan. Soaked in His own blood, Jesus cried out from the cross: “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). When Jesus made this petition to the Father, He took upon Himself not only the worst sin imaginable (crucifying the Son of God), but He also took the sin of every mother who aborted a child. Today His blood cries out for the judgment and destruction of evil and all the works of Satan, but it also cries out for mercy and grace to be poured over these mothers continually.

Before Jesus offered Himself as the final sacrifice for us, the entire world awaited the judgment of God. But when Christ spilled His blood, died, and rose from the dead, Satan’s plans for humanity were completely wiped out and the enemies of the Lord Jesus were scattered: “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee before Him” (Psalm 68:1). When the new life of Christ arises inside of a mother who aborted a child, the entire narrative changes because His blood tells a better story than the work of Satan.

Mothers Reunited with Aborted Children

According to the original plan (if abortion had never happened), if a child died prematurely in the womb, they would be rejoined in heaven with Mommy upon her death: “But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me” (2 Samuel 12:23, my emphasis added). Here, King David was speaking about rejoining his dead son when he got to heaven in the future!

Well, abortion is the work of Satan (in most cases). As we already looked at in 1 John 3:8, Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan. So all the mothers of aborted children who are in Jesus will be rejoined with their daughters and sons in heaven very soon! This is certain!

To all mothers who have aborted children, I say: By the blood of Jesus Christ, be healed of all spiritual leprosy, shame, condemnation, and every other work of the enemy! You are forgiven and you have been made clean and pure like the Lord Jesus Himself! He has purchased the most beautiful reunion this world could ever imagine, and heaven awaits that day of celebration!

The Heartbeat of America through 2024

Through Jesus I hear the blood of innocent babies crying out by the tongue of their mothers, declaring, “Repent! The table has been set, and the Bridegroom is on His way!”

Through Jesus I see every Christian church across every denomination being granted the opportunity to lay down its pride, repent, and be united on earth as they are in heaven. The blood of innocent babies is in the water, and we have all drank of this sin.

God bless America and God bless every mother in the world. IT IS FINISHED!
